Growing up in a Greek family, I spent most of my time especially during Easter and Christmas watching my family slow cook the meat over a fire on a rotating spit. I would watch my mum make a variety of fresh salads and many authentic Greek dishes all by hand including my favourite Spinach and Feta pastry. Life was simple back then, we were always surrounded by good food and family which was a great experience growing up.


With over three decades of running busy traditional cafes and restaurants in the city of Melbourne, I’ve always had an idea in the back of mind to open up my own Greek shop. When the opportunity arrived I couldn’t wait and enjoyed the whole process of revamping the look of the shop naming it Souva So Good… Bringing a little bit of Mykonos to Ivanhoe!


Now sharing all the authentic Greek recipes and hospitality that I’ve learnt from my heritage.
